Troop 61 is an active troop located in the Northwest neighborhood of Delaware, Ohio.
We are an active troop with outings scheduled for every month of the year. Our Scouts LOVE to camp! If this sounds fun, come join us!

61 and 701 were invited to participate in the plaque
dedication of the first football game between OWU and OSU on
May 3rd. The troops presented and
retired the U.S. and Ohio flags during the ceremony.The weather threatened to wash out the celebration early on, but the clouds parted and the sun came out midway through the event. Many celebrities were on hand; including Coach Cooper, Archie Griffin, and the presidents and bands from both universities. |
| On May 31st, Mr. Robinson, Joe, and Mr. Schluetz took a trip over to the Tuscarawas River to scout out our trip by canoe into Camp Tuscazoar in August . The river exceeded our expectations. This trip will be a great time! |

June 7th - Leadership Training/Summer Camp Preparation - We
will gather at Asbury Church between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. and
go until around 3:00 p.m. We will have a cookout for
lunch. June 13th - "Relay for Life" - Our scouts will be assisting. Please contact Aaron, Jarrett, or Mr. Robinson for details. |
| June 15 -21st - Summer Camp at Seven Ranges. June 29th - 6-8:00 p.m. - Philmont Meeting at Mark Schluetz's home. The meeting will be outdoors (hopefully). Bring a lawn chair.
