December = Winter Bushwack Hike
Morning temperature was about 14 degrees that
morning. We planned a 10 mile hike with a lunch break on the trail
about midway. 200 racers made for some interesting sights and
conversation as well. First time for our Troop but probably not the
last.Beautiful scenery, rugged trails and a hot meal midway made for
a very enjoyable day on the trail. Truly one’s mind takes you many
places other than our very own “OHIO” on this trail-highly recommend
it.
