Summer Camp at Seven Ranges - June '09
This year at Camp we had 21 boys (11 new) plus 6(fulltime)adults
(4 new), plus a campsite mascot--Bouquet's Bobcat!!
Weather was a challenge this year but it did not damper any spirits.
Aaron Wilson did a wonderful job as our SPL for the week taking all
scouts to achieve the camp honors and each boy and adult receiving
their Pipestone--highlight of the week!! Aaron also coordinated an
amazing camp project-we are now called Troop 61 Road Gang - (see
pictures)
Also close to 40 merit badges were earned with a record number of
fish being caught under the Guide service of Mr. Tuffey.
Congratulations to Mr. Kinietz and Mr. Wilson for acquiring their
Green Bar Training.
Congratulations to ALL first year Scouters at your first year at
camp--hope you can't wait to come back!!
Personally I had a great week and thank you one and all for being a
part of it!!
