Camp Lazarus/JLOW/Caveman Picnic - March '09
The weather was perfect for mid-March. No rain, overcast on Saturday, and sunny on Sunday. The evenings were cool. Friday night was down into the high 20's. Saturday was in the low 50's.
JLOW training went well. Scouts came back with great ideas learned during the day. Younger scouts went on a short hike and enjoyed a caveman picnic. The Timber Wolves enjoyed home-made potato soup, green bean casserole, and Saturday evening thanks to Aaron's culinary expertise. The new scout patrol weren't to be outdone. They baked calzones in their dutch oven.
The weekend finished with a scouts' own service at the falls.
