It was a brisk fall morning with a cutting north wind, the start
of a jamb packed day full of round robin stations run by the Senior
patrol members. The stations encompassed the skills for more than
half of their 2nd class requirements followed by lunch
and a 5 mile hike. The Scoutmaster exercised his formidable timing
by arriving at the same moment as the hikers returned with two Dutch
Oven upside-down pineapple cakes-a glorious way to end a day of
Scouting!
